“You Matter” is more than just something we say around the offices here at Every Monday Matters. It’s the phrase with which we approach each day, each monthly theme, and each interaction with each other. Realizing you matter, and showing others how much they matter, is the only way to live. Which is why this week, today, September 29, we are celebrating the first ever National YOU MATTER Day. So, what do we want you to do? It’s simple. First, we want you to really embrace the fact that you matter. You matter to yourself, your family, your co-workers, your friends, your children, your community. Really own that… it is huge. Once you have that down, we want you to unleash this power on the world. Lift someone up, give someone a compliment, award your child a “You Matter” certificate, volunteer at a soup kitchen, surprise your spouse with a date night. The options are endless. Today is the day to be awesome… to matter. So join us… because you do.
“There is nothing so rewarding as to make people realize that they are worthwhile in this world.”
