There is a lot going wrong in the world today. You can’t log on to your computer, turn on the TV, or check your Google news feed without getting some sort of bad news. It’s easy to get discouraged. But it’s in those tough moments that optimism becomes most important. This week, we want you to FIND THE SILVER LINING. Every downside has an upside. Even in times of tragedy, you can take heart in seeing people come together to assist, to volunteer, to donate money and supplies. So whether it’s some major catastrophe on TV or a minor setback in your own life, this week, try and see the light at the end of the tunnel. And if you’re having trouble seeing it on your own, enlist the help of a friend or a colleague. Maybe they can see what you aren’t yet able to see yourself. Silver linings get us through tough times and they move us forward. Silver linings matter.

“If clouds are blocking the sun, there will always be a silver lining that reminds me to keep on trying.”
