THIS WEEK: CHARGE UP

Computers, cell phones, tablets, watches, and toothbrushes need a good charge to keep running smoothly. It’s a pretty simple process—plug them in and let them charge. But what about us? Yes, like our devices, we humans need to recharge as well, but that process might be a bit more complex. And, truth be told, we are probably better at making sure our devices have sufficient juice than we are at making sure we have what it takes to feel rested, refueled, and ready to take on the day. So, this week, we want you to CHARGE UP. What charges you up? What sparks your joy and inspires you? Whereas electricity is the only solution for our devices, the options for us are endless. Maybe you practice mindfulness, but a family member goes for a run. Maybe you listen to your favorite pump-up song, while a friend dives into a good book. At the same time, what drains your energy and how can you make choices to minimize that exposure? Yes, part of staying charged up is being aware of what goes in and what goes out. So get ready to charge your battery to 100% because it allows us to live life to the fullest. And, equally as awesome, it allows us to charge up others to help them feel really good about who they are and who they want to be. Energy is contagious. Energy is everything. Charging up matters.
