“Health, we have a problem.” According to the newest research: 95% of Americans watch TV every day, 67% use social media, 58% play video games an average of 6.3 hours a week, 54% do online shopping, 51% watch streamed video an average of 4.4 hours per month. And, this is just how we spend our free time. This doesn’t count sitting at a desk or in a car for hours upon hours each and every day. Moral of the story: We sit way too much… and it is killing us. So, this week, we want you to CRANK IT UP. Only 16% of Americans participate in daily exercise. If our goal is to GET HEALTHY this month, this is not going to cut it. And, if our health is everything, then it’s time to get moving. Maybe it is just taking a 20-minute walk or going for a bike ride. Only you and your doctor know the proper intensity for your exercise, and not everyone is ready to go climb Everest. But, the key is that you get started… and you stick with it. You will never feel better, mentally, emotionally, and physically. You might even shed a few pounds, if you have them to lose. So, start today. Your health relies on it. Exercise matters.
