The year 2020 has tested us in many ways. Some of those ways are obvious, while others might be a little subtler. And as we close out our focus on being more consistent this month, this week is an important one, for in a subtle way, we might have slipped on this concept a little bit. This week, we want you to CREATE BOUNDARIES. Does it feel like the line between work and life has blurred a little bit? Has the need for personal space, both at home and out in public, been top of mind at all lately? How disciplined have you been when it comes to making healthy choices for yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally? See, uncertain and shifty times can feel like a full on assault on our boundaries, and if we are not aware of it, we can quickly find ourselves swirling and feeling ungrounded. Why? Because healthy boundaries are everything to us. They help us make smart decisions, for we are clear on what is right and wrong, good or bad. They strengthen friendships and relationships, for they allow people to get to know us better and for us to better understand others. And, they allow us to stick to a plan and achieve what we set out to accomplish, because they keep us focused and structured. A world without boundaries is complete chaos. Just imagine driving without lanes, speed limits, etc. Well, a life without them is pretty messy, too. Creating boundaries matters.
