THIS WEEK: EMBRACE YOURSELF

When it comes to being healthy, the first place we usually go is to our physical health. You know, it’s the eat better, lose weight, and exercise type of stuff. And, we completely understand why. However, there is another side of our health that is just as important. It’s our emotional and mental health. And, the truth is that digging into this stuff can sometimes be more challenging than dropping a few pounds or achieving a goal of 50- or 100-push-ups. But, that’s not going to stop us, because this week we want you to EMBRACE YOURSELF. Have you ever thought about how you treat yourself? Do you ever look in the mirror and tell yourself how awesome you are? Yes, even expressing love for your flaws? Our hope is that you understand that there is no such thing as “perfection,” and that you are perfect just the way you are. Sure, we can all improve with a little work; but personal improvement can only start from a place of loving ourselves. So, just do it. Look in the mirror and say, “I love you.” Give yourself a hug. Embrace what makes you unique and special. And, just watch… as you start to love yourself more… you’ll start to spread that love out in the world. Not so bad. Embracing yourself matters.
