Have you ever seen a tiger or a snow leopard? What about an orangutan, a gorilla, an elephant, a panda, a sea otter, a rhinoceros, or a blue whale? No, we are not talking about on TV or on YouTube. We aren’t even talking about at the zoo. We mean out in nature. Sadly, your odds of seeing one of these beautiful animals and many more are getting slimmer every day. Deforestation, pollution, hunting, and trade, have all led to the rapid drop in certain wildlife populations, nearly to the point of extinction. Worse yet, we are the ones to blame. There is nobody or nothing else we can point the finger at on this one. So, this week, we want you, your family and friends to GO WILD. It’s time for us to protect our animals. After all, none of us want to see the day when elephants no longer inhabit the Earth. Get involved. Whether that means giving of your time, treasure, or talents. And, while you’re at it, be picky about products. For example, if you purchased a product that lists palm oil as an ingredient, you just hurt the orangutans by destroying their habitat and lives. We don’t hesitate to go the extra mile to protect our dogs and cats, so why aren’t we doing the same for wildlife? Going wild matters.
