Emotions can be challenging to understand. They can also be difficult to regulate and accept. When we fall on the ground and injure our arm, there is no wonder our arm hurts. When we haven’t had something to drink in several hours, there is no wonder we might be thirsty. In these instances, we are easily able to rationalize the cause and effect. But when it comes to something like our level of happiness, it might not be as easy. Or is it? This week, we want you to LAUGH OUT LOUD. Laughing is one of the greatest gifts we can give our souls… and to other people. When we laugh, our body intakes oxygen-rich air, our heart, lungs and muscles are stimulated, and our brain releases endorphins that make us feel good. Magically, it also has the same impact on those around us. Yes, laughter begets laughter. Much like happiness inspires happiness. So, ask yourself these important questions: Do I laugh enough? Have I laughed as much lately as I normally do? If the answer is “no” then get excited to turn things around, because this week is for you. So what makes you laugh? What do you love to do? Who do you love to spend time with? Can you feel your smile starting to crack already? Now, go have fun. Play. Be a kid again. Laugh til it hurts. Laughing out loud matters.
