Jane Goodall said, “You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide on the kind of difference you want to make.” We can no longer make excuses. We can no longer wait for someone else to take the lead. Our planet, the place we call, “Home,” is declining; and it is finally time for each of us to accept the fact that our behaviors are the reason why. The devices we use, the cars we drive, the lights we leave on, the water we waste, and the food we eat all impact and affect our environment. So, this week, we want everyone to MAKE IT PERSONAL. Our consumption matters. What we think we need, how we access it, and the amount we use matters. Taking responsibility for the health of our planet matters. What would one action done by billions of people look like? What if everyone picked up one piece of litter… 8 billion pieces of trash picked up. What if everyone planted one tree… 8 billion trees re-greening our lands. It all starts with one action. Will you be the one who starts the action? Will you be the one who motivates and inspires other people to do the same? Together, we can make a tremendous difference in healing our planet. Making it personal matters.
