With the holidays well behind us, and Valentine’s Day still in our rearview mirror, we have a question to ask you. But, before we ask it, we want you to know that we are not judging here. So here it is: Did you write thank you notes or make appreciation calls or even send an email or text to everyone who gifted you something over the past two months? If you have, then you’ve earned a gold star for sure. But if you’re a member of that bigger club of the ones who haven’t, then this week is just for you… or really for all of us. It’s SHOW APPRECIATION week. Whether you say, text, or write it, showing appreciation is one of the most powerful ways to show someone how much they or one of their gestures matters to you. It can literally be as simple as sharing those two magic words: “thank you.” Yet as simple as it is, it is also pretty easy to let slip by day-after-day. And, once it gets to week-after-week or month-after-month, showing appreciation hits a sort of fade-out point and we avoid saying it to avoid feeling embarrassed. Well, we don’t care if it’s been a week, a month, or even longer. It’s never too late to say “thank you,” because showing appreciation always matters. So, thank you for reading this, and thank you for saying “thank you.”
