Kindness is so contagious and so appreciated that it even works with total strangers. And, in a day where we hear terms like “Stranger Danger” or we get scared when someone knocks on our door in the evenings, maybe a little positive-stranger-engagement might be just what the doctor ordered. So, this week, we want you to TREAT SOMEONE. But there are a few caveats… First of all, they need to be a stranger. Secondly, the only motivation should be kindness… this is not your free-pick-up-line week. And, lastly, let’s not creep anyone out. So, let’s just keep it simple. How about buying coffee for the person behind you in line? What about secretly paying for another couple’s dinner at a restaurant? Or paying the toll for the car behind you? The ideas are endless… and quite fun. It’s just a matter of being aware of the many opportunities that present themselves every day and making your move. And, if you can’t find a lucky stranger, then take your friend to lunch. It will definitely let them know that they matter and they will, no doubt, appreciate the kind gesture. Treating matters.
